The Fields at Skycrest has not been an overnight success story. Most stories worth anything take time. Over the past 30 years, we have fought hard for our small businesses, fought hard for our marriage at times, and fought hard for our family. Being self-employed isn't for the faint of heart. However, Todd's business, Lake Norman Chiropractic, and my first passion Willow Branch Flowers and Design, thrived beyond what we could have imagined when we married in our early twenties. In 2010, we were finally blessed with our daughter Mary-Charles. After starting our family, we felt it was time to get back to our "roots." We searched for three years for the perfect place to call home. When we first saw our property under Carolina blue skies in 2018, we felt we had found our "happily ever after." It was the next chapter in our story.

For half of my life, I have made heart-felt connections with hundreds of couples and corporate clients, and learned about the many facets of the wedding and event business. Fields at Skycrest is special to us as a family, but we also feel called to share the fruits of our labor with our community and beyond. From young newlyweds to now, both Todd and I have relied on our faith for direction and inspiration. We believe God brought us to this place, to be good stewards of our talents and our land and to help other new couples starting their lives together.
